It was a dark and stormy night…
As my Independent Study & Mentorship journey has continued its unique path, a new set of characters have entered the plot. For a perfect Thanksgiving surprise, I received confirmation that this year, I will be working and developing my tangible Original Work and Final Product under the guidance of Mr. Joshua Meek, Mr. Phil Dillard, and Mr. Ranjan Chandiramani. These three highly accomplished individuals, all engrossed in the field of entrepreneurship, all bring a unique skillset to the table that could help me advance to greater heights through the duration of my journey. This new phase of my ISM journey as I transition from individual research to a more coordinated effort, serves as not only an obvious journey to learn from accomplished professionals in my field of interest, but also serves as a unique opportunity for me fine tune my professional skills. As I am now responsible for effective collaboration between my mentors and their presiding guidance over my project, a multitude of skills such as communication, proactive planning, and active presence will now play greater role within this unique experience. Therefore, I look forward to working alongside my mentors to create a successful business which is sustainable, scalable, and profitable.
In addition to this exciting news, I utilized most of my Thanksgiving break advancing my progress on my business plan.
In addition to this exciting news, I utilized most of my Thanksgiving break advancing my progress on my business plan. Having prepared a general outline to frequent questions about my business plan, an introduction to the actual template and the completion of the product itself struck me as imposing. However, I quickly realized that many of my prepared responses could be easily transferred to answer vital components of the business plan. I have made significant progress on my Original Work thus far and look forward to continued progress over the upcoming weeks.
