Lake Geneva – Plas-Tech Engineering provides distinctive plastic parts, assemblies and plastic injection molds to the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries. The company offers a variety of molding processes, medical-grade materials for injection molding, complex tooling, and components designed for medical devices and pharmaceuticals. It will expand its headquarters and production operations in Lake Geneva, WI.
Founded in 1990, Plas-Tech’s engineering-based services and manufacturing capabilities are utilized by pharma, biotech, and diagnostics industries around the globe. The company’s culture of innovation has required it to become vertically integrated- which in turn has made it stand out from its competitors. Because of the year-over-year growth, Plas-Tech Engineering will build a new 25,000-square-foot expansion at its headquarters in Lake Geneva, WI. With this expansion, the company will continue to grow and thus add dozens of newly created jobs to the city of Lake Geneva and neighboring communities.
“Wisconsin is the perfect location for Plas-Tech Engineering to expand. There is a long history of manufacturing and a deep talent base to support our long-term goals,” said Plas-Tech CTO President Aaron Hirschmann. “We are thrilled to be growing our company in a production-friendly state like Wisconsin.” Hirschmann is the founder of Plas-Tech Engineering and has recently welcomed the second generation into the company.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is assisting the project with $85,000 in performance-based tax credits, which are contingent on the number of jobs created and capital invested.
