Living from Spirit as Christ – Part 2

The Exchanged Life

Last week we saw where we become Christ in human form from Gal. 2:20

  • Christ in Paul form.

  • Christ living His life through all who call upon the name of the Lord.

  • A Shared Life – Col. 3:4

  • This is radical, your life has been transformed, and continues to transform.

  • New life, new creation, new man...

It is an exchanged life, not a changed life, His for ours – Isaiah 61:3-Gal. 2:20

  • Let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich, the sick say I am healed, let us say who He is and believe we are as He is.

  • We exchange history – we all have history, we are molded by the things in our past, the events, people, places etc.

  • We died, we were raised, newness of life, with not a new history, but His history. We exchanged history and share in His eternity.

  • I am no longer affected by or identified with my history, thus the death.

  • All He has accomplished on earth and now is in heaven

  • Jesus did not identify with Joseph, or earth, but His Father and the kingdom. He lived from heaven’s identity as a son not a slave, as divine not just human.

We see this in union, or agriculturally speaking in grafting.

  • Romans 11:17, 19-20, 23-24

  • A dead branch has no history, but once it gets grafted, the tree’s history is now shared with the once dead, now alive branch.

  • John 15:1-5

  • Christ who is our life...

If you miss this, you will continue the lie, the illusion, a life apart when all the while you're one with...

  • Jerusalem, they rejected Him as their life, and could not live out union, and was separated, cut off, unbelief, house left desolate.
