Everyday Is An Examination Day…

As each day brings about new circumstances, occurrences, and perspectives, what sentiments dominate society tend to pollute our mind as well. In these testing times, wherein unfoundedly blaming others and surround oneself with negativity seems inevitable, it is vital we understand that these situations inadvertently test and improve one’s character. As Sir Isaac Newton invested Calculus during his quarantine during the Great Plague, need drives us to innovate, and I have chosen to pursue this path as well.

Although this Spring Break has been unforgettable in numerous ways, this undistracted time at home has allowed me to constructively make significant progress on Groundify. Although I was disappointed in the fact that I would not be able to present Groundify at the DECA International Career Development Conference as it was cancelled, I was elated at the fact that I was chosen to represent the YEA! Frisco chapter at the Saunders Scholars National Competition. This recognition has not only solidified my confidence within Groundify’s purpose but has also proven how consistent and genuine effort eventually leads to fruition. This further motivates me to continue with this project and ensure that it remains successful. In addition, I have looked to legally establish Groundify and although I haven’t received direct guidance from Mr. Meek due to the circumstances, his previous tips have proven beneficial.

Proactively looking into the future, I plan on continuing consistent work on Groundify to launch it and begin operations for the Final Product.
