This past week saw the beginning of what I view as a sequel to my previous journey. Although the components remained constant, the mindset through which I approached was renewed; it was characterized by a sense of unrelenting motivation and a hunger to grow. And I look forward to carrying this spirit with me to tackle my subject and create a product that further represents my research.

As I had the opportunity to research more about my future, I learnt the importance of diversification yet focus; while having a diverse range of skills is vital to adapt, having a single passion is equally as important to help you fit in to a work culture. As I explored the differences between Silicon Valley and Wall Street, I was able to better discern my interests to align them with the unique characteristics of each sector, coming to the conclusion that the New York skyscrapers is where I want to be. This realization of what my future holds has also translated into my work as a high schooler and soon a college student. I have noticed that my vision of professionally dressed Gurnoor entering an office building filled with motivated individuals has increased my effectiveness and concentration on my tasks at this stage, exciting me for what lies ahead.

As an ISM II student who has experienced this journey once, I look to mold it in a different way the second time around, exploring further, learning more, and growing exponentially. For this reason, I have already started my journey as an investor with my mentor through simple preliminary exercises and I look forward to fulfilling my mission: I am the greatest.
