It is a common observation that any liquid has the ability to take the form of its surroundings while maintaining its structural and chemical integrity. If this is used as a metaphor to represent human nature, we see how humans should be able to adapt to the surroundings they are placed in while maintaining an unwavering sense of optimism, determination, and focus. During these testing circumstances wherein everyone is adapting to a new environment, I have come to realize the vitality of the concept explained above as without a strict adherence to a strong personal set of values, an individual will get lost in the negativity surrounding this sensitive issue. With this realization, I have forced myself to adapt and to continue working on my passions through this first week of change.

This past week, I was able to reflect upon my YEA Investor Panel Pitch through our YEA Meeting wherein I was able to analyze my strengths and weakness, identifying points of improvement for other pitches. In addition, I was able to recuperate and accustom myself to my mentorship schedule with my mentor meeting with Mr. Meek wherein I was able to set action points to work on for this week.

Looking forward, I look forward to further implementing this ideology while adapting to this testing time to ensure I am making significant and persistent progress on my final product.
