A Grand Conclusion to A Humble Beginning
There will always be an excuse to “do something tomorrow”. However, what we don’t realize is that the notion of tomorrow is nonexistent, and soon, the opportunity to pursue said task will cease to exist as well. This realization came to me as I neared the end of the first schooling period, wherein I realized that the stress that I was taking was solely dependent upon the overwhelming nature of pending work. Through this learning, I understood that I should be able to operate with personal drive and motivation rather than being dependent on external factors such as deadlines.
The passing of each day is one less day I can dedicate to developing ideas pertaining to my passion. However, as an intensive academic period has passed, I can spend more time expanding my knowledge about entrepreneurship while working on my original work. With this fresh start, I have also changed the way I approach my Independent Study & Mentorship journey. Falling into the trap of completing the tasks required for the class to receive a numerical grade, I had forgotten the importance of this class towards shaping my career and the potential of this class in benefiting me in the professional workplace. However, with a renewed sense of priority and the external motivation of upcoming deadlines, I have begun to intensify my involvement in the program. Through the establishment of personal goals regarding my mentor, further research interviews, and the content of my digital portfolio, I have an established plan to create an amazing original work under the guidance of a knowledgeable mentor.
The passing of each day is one less day I can dedicate to developing ideas pertaining to my passion.
Looking forward into the near future, I plan on contacting professionals knowledgeable in the field of entrepreneurship while sending my business plan to various professionals who I have already established connections with such as Mr. Healy, Mr. Rawley, and Mr. Dillard for the purpose of receiving valuable contact information and feedback on my proposal. Additionally, I plan on continuing in the weekly classes and opportunities provided by the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy to develop my business plan while visiting local business pitch competitions as well. To conclude, I strongly believe that this new approach towards my passion will allow me to positively finish the beginning of the Independent Study & Mentorship journey.
