Ambidextrous
April 18th, 2021
There is a common saying that when one door closes, thousands of other doors open. And as I look to depart from high school and move on to my higher education at UC Berkeley, I am currently residing in a limbo state – a state in which I am extremely passionate about starting college and pursuing courses in my degree but am also partially forced to superbly finish high school with my AP Tests and maintaining my grades. Although, this state of confusion is causing me some annoyance and I really want to transition to begin connecting with peers at UC Berkeley and taking courses, I understand that, from another perspective, it is important to finish what I have started the right way. Therefore, I have continued to grow in my ISM journey as I recently submitted a high quality proof of completion for my Final Product and I look forward to delivering an even better Final Presentation Night speech on video to post on my portal and in-person for my mentor, family, and friends.
Most importantly, going forward, I look forward to finishing this year strong, learning as much as I can from my high school peers, remaining connected with my mentors and connections, and slowly but surely transitioning to the next chapter in my life.
