When you have worked so hard on a consistent basis, the end of a journey seems like a part of the journey. And given that in a few days’ time, I will be standing in front of those who have supported me, presenting my research to them, I eagerly await the emotions of satisfaction, joy, content to wash over me as I conclude my presentation. It is a bittersweet feeling as I look to move on to new paths while feeling melancholy over the conclusion of such an enriching journey. However, I look forward to the next steps as I officially conclude my Independent & Mentorship Program journey later this week.

To prepare for this this amazing conclusion to my journey, I have been consistently practicing my Final Presentation Night speech in order to evaluate my presentation capabilities, my memorization of the topics I must cover, and the methods through which I can interact with the audience in attendance. Moreover, I ensured to stay in touch with my mentor, Mr. Joshua Meek, so that he can be in attendance of my presentation and help me edit my presentation script and my Final Product. Ultimately, I look forward to Final Presentation Night being a marker of my efforts and the start of a new journey.
